Albert Milligan

Being a victim of "corporate restructuring" in 1994, with 36 years experience in the metalworking industry, it was a natural transition for Albert E. Milligan to start his bird house business, as many of the skills and manufacturing techniques are the same for wood.

A careful study of numerous birdhouse competitors, revealed that there were pretty hand-painted ones for indoor decor and others that were plain and functional for outdoor use. What about a highly detailed birdhouse that would look beautiful inside yet endure the outdoor weather?

Albert also thought about people looking for unique gifts, and designed bird houses for special interest themes such as golf, skiing, hunting, fishing, auto sports, air sports, pet lovers, and occupational themes as well, such as, healthcare, legal, teaching, postal, banking, farming, fire, religious, pharmacy, real estate, airlines, and insurance. Thus the start of a successful business!
