About the Artist
Juliet Rose Gallery & Studio offers only one of a kind ceramic art. Juliet and Linda opened their business in 2001. Much of Juliet's inspiration comes from her Jamaican heritage. Her African Coiling technique is carried on from West African roots. Creating from clay, her pieces are linear, graceful, large forms. Sgraffito images of mountains, rivers, flowers and people speak volumes to each viewer. More traditional forms are created on the wheel by Linda. Many works are altered forms, flowing from her love of curved lines, and of the sea. All glazes are made in their studio, from scratch.
